If there's one phyrric benefit over the right-wing opposition to SCHIP, it's the rapidly-eroding ability for conservatives to hide the fact that they simply enjoy watching poor people suffer.

Right off the bat: I really tried to think of a strip going after Malkin, but frankly I couldn't think of a way to spend only 3 or 4 panels saying anything beyond the aforementioned suggestions that she is a terrorist who should have her children taken away by child services for their own protection. So I think others will take the helm for this one.
I'm not that clever, so it also being my sister's birthday is just a coincidence to her being the reason this week's strip exists. She mailed me this article from the local paper back in New Jersey, and... I mean, good god, people- how could it not be addressed immediately? I almost left SPX early to sit down and write this one. And then it just started hurting my head to read it over and over again. This article was treading Lewis Black "if it weren't for my horse" water- an affliction not seen since the days of Gunther, the truffle-buying millionaire dog.
And yes, Senor Bueno is in this one. I would call it a nod to the fans if I felt I had enough.
